Another few months has passed until I suddenly remembered I still have a blog in Blogger. Which is why you are seeing an update.

I thank you for the complement. ^-^ I almost did not not see your tag. I must admit to being curious as to the hows of you stumbling upon my humble blog. Other than that, I do wonder what comes up in your research on my person! (:  

P/S: You can head on over to my LJ where I am decidedly more active with the updates. Maybe I could find out more about you too.

Now I was just over at LJ, doing an update when it occured to me to do an archive of all my cyber profiles - sort of like the links you see in the sidebar. Anyway, during the dry spell of updates, I realised that I spend a huge portion of my time googling!

Google is evil I tell you. It makes you google one thing after another. Anyway what I wanted to say was that while googling, I finally understood what RSS actually is. I sure as hell took a long time to figure out what exactly is RSS. It is simple really this RSS, which makes me doubt my intelligence. However let's get back to the point I am still getting to which is, "How do I get my LJ RSS into my blog over at blogger?".

Really this is a simple solution for keeping two blogs. Since I can;t bear to let either go, RSS is the way to go! (It rhymes) Problem now though, I can't quite figure out where the link goes.













Ah, I'll figure it out somehow..

I do not usually indulge in self-pity, but when this rare occasion does come knocking on my door it comes without mercy.

Changed the layout.

Apparently ver 8.5 graphic was ugly.. they say. I was rather pleased with the photoshop-ing I did on that graphic. Alas the comments left me.. demoralised.

Reformatting my notebook dragged me deeper into the black pit. I was lost in the darkness.

Gathering whatever was left. I resorted to using notepad to generate the codes and an old photoshop-ed image. However.. I did manage to get SpaceCadet a new music player! At present, there are 13 songs in the player.

A big accomplishment. ^-^


















School has started a week ago.. (ㅡ.ㅡ")

Right now, I am feeling accomplished!
Finally! I was able to modify the layout to suit the original layout plan.

Yes it is not that much of a difference.
Still.. I finally figured it out (^^,")
It was such a simple method that I am astounded that I did not think of using it when I first started out.

Inspired to do more blog layouts (^-^)

Too much time to spare. Cleaned up images.

Some might have wondered: the blog was down for maintanence.

It is now up with the previous unseen posts while I was missing in action. Plus..

A new layout.

Somehow I am not too thrilled with how it turned out. [It is so p-lainn!! *pulls hair*]

Yeah, it is not something new. I have been meddling with the codes for three full days and I just cannot seem to get it right. I am starting to think that what I had in mind is html/css/javascript impossible. Ah.. I am just not competent enough.

I am however extremely pleased with the banner!! Yes it is different from my usual set of pictures. But I just had to use that beautiful artwork for my blog. She - and i think it is a she - who drew that character is extremely talented. I am envious of such talent. If only I could..

Procrastinating, I can never get enough (ㅡ┏)

I realised that SpaceCadet is deprived of certain features that Blogger provide its users. The feature in question is the ability to comment on posts and entry tags.

So I decided to label all the posts and started messing around with the codings and had the comment function up and running a short while later.

While I am aware that people usually do not bother commenting, however I feel that I should fully utilise all the features Blogger has so generously provided its users.. fine I admit there is a hidden agenda behind my trying to incorporate the comment function. But I shall not reveal what for as of yet (^-^)

Go try it out!

Ah so a new chapter begins..
How about we start the day off with a new look!

We figured what caused the scrolling problem.
Seems like we had too much time but on the contrary I think we screwed up real bad.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see how all this shall play out.

As always there is a downside to every new beginnings.. (-┏)

At this exact date, Space Cadet starts to exist.
Disregarding the lapse of a few months, its been a year.

Going back, I had a few laughs especially the first few posts. The usage of simplified spellings, the skipping off to a new novel.. those days, I thought it was cool haha!

Since we are reminiscing the good/bad old days..

And because I'm horrible at doing anything productive with the amount of time I have, I made a new layout to mark this first year ㅡㅡㆀ

It has come to my attention recently that the layout is not compatible with firefox.

It's ugly. Urgh.

Till I find a way to fix this mess, Dreamweaver. My arse.

Hmpf. Now that really is a shame isn't it. Pft.

Okay.. so it finally changed.

No thanks to dreamweaver.

I think there is too much going on in this layout.

This has to be the most random and cluttered layout I've made.

Plus some posts font colour doesn't go well with this layout. Oh well.
